In the heart of La Rosière, nestled in the Savoy Alps, Colette Sport is much more than just a ski hire shop. It is a story of passion, family and mountains that has been going strong for over 60 years.
It all began in 1965, when Jean Gaidet opened Gaidet Sport, the resort’s very first sports shop. In 1991, Colette Maître, a ski instructor and mountain lover, took over the reins. She breathed new life into the shop and renamed it Colette Sport. Since 2012, her son Mathieu, a former competitive skier and ESF instructor, has been continuing this wonderful family story with the same passion.
